Neamt County is a county in the region of Moldova, in northeastern Romania, at the border between the Eastern Carpathians and the Moldavian Plateau. The main water courses: MOLDOVA, Siret (between Doljesti and Secuieni), Bistrita (between Brosteni and Buhusi, Bistricioara, Bicaz, Cracau, Tarcau), the main lakes: Izvoru Muntelui, Pangarati, Vaduri and Batca Doamnei. Maximum: Ocolasu Mare High (M. Ceahlau) 1,907 meters.
